Oh my, how time flies!!! It’s been quite a while since I posted anything on the blog and I am ashamed. However, life happens and sometimes time just gets away from you.
I’ve been keeping busy with work (I have a day job as a PA at my mom & dad’s company), socializing, keeping sane. Another thing that has been occupying my mind is my weight-loss journey. If you follow me on social media then you will know that I started my journey on 10 September 2018 with my first day on the 28 day diet. I shared everything I ate on my personal facebook page as well as VELVETvirtue’s INSTAGRAM profile’s instastories. After 28 days I lost a ‘whopping’ 2.6 kg, I was happy about losing weight but also a little disappointed as I know most people loose a lot more than that.
I went to my doctor and he told me that the 28 day diet is not for me as I have low blood sugar and it lowered by sugar levels even more which resulted in me losing so little weight. He suggested that I try banting as the high protein intake will regulate my blood sugar levels better.
So here I am today, 22/10/2018, my first day on the banting diet. I will share monthly updates on facebook & instagram.
